North West Noble Havanese
Welcome to our website! Our hope is you will find the content on the following pages informative and heartwarming. We are a small hobby breeder of purebred Havanese dogs. Havanese are a small breed companion pet. The puppies that we are blessed with are filled to the rim with love, attention and plenty of real life experiences. We strive to give our puppies the very best start in every way. Socialization, good health and simple training begin here.
My philosophy on puppy breeding.
1. Havanese puppies are best bred in a family environment. That means mommy and daddy dogs are part of the family. This is a fundamental step in puppy socialization. 2. As companion pets they are objects of our love and we want them to be with us a long time. Health and temperament matter. Careful consideration should be taken by the breeder in selection of parent dogs. Wholesome health, diet and medical choices make all the difference in the long run. 3.Recognizing each puppy's unique temperament and being mindful of puppy behavior begin with the breeder, giving families a solid foundation to build on. 4. Too many puppies means poor socialization and bad habits. A breeder does well if he or she allows only what he/she can handle with quality care. 5. Early puppy socialization paves the way too good behavior. |
Speaking of socializing! |
The very first exposure to new things happens in our wagon. Once puppies are four weeks old we take them outside to explore. At this time they experience their first wagon ride. Soon they are comfortable with the motion and noise. By six weeks old I can pull them just about anywhere. This gives these guys an early start on socialization. Before they are nine weeks old they have been in many real world situations in the safety of their wagon.

A socialized puppy is brave, friendly and well adjusted.
