Most owners keep their havi in a puppy cut for ease of maintenance. However others enjoy grooming and keep it long and beautiful They are considered hypoallergenic and non-shedding. Their hair can range from straight to wavy or even curly. A fascinating characteristic unique to the Havanese is that some may change their coat color up to three times in their life.
